TACH V3 2pc set 24/20in Medium and Carry-on

I was looking for a way for one person to manage the luggage of two people on extended trips. This seems to be a great solution for us. We didn't need or want the really big suitcases, but the two 24" size, or that plus one carry-on should work well for us.

I'm not a fan of the clamshell split open mode that all the hard-sided suitcases use these days; I think I would have preferred the older soft-sided version (though occasionally looking out an airplane window and seeing bags sitting in the rain on the tarmac can make hard sides seem better).

It would be nice if the pull strap had some way of storing external to the bags; that would be more useful than the gimmicky water bottle holder.

All in, I'm quite happy with the purchase, and thankful to the acquaintance who revealed the existence of these nifty bags to me.

I am so impressed with this luggage. The wheels glad effortlessly across most surfaces. The ability to join the carry-on with my checked luggage and not have to fuss with two suitcases at one time is great. I also think of it as a safety element while traveling through the airport, subway, train stations, and city streets. It allows you to always have one hand free to carry your purse, coffee, or anything else. The inside of the luggage is super deep and allows you to get more inside without your items being crushed or overly wrinkled upon your arrival at your destination. The TSA safety lock is a must have and you of course get to set your own code. I do not think I can ever go back to any other brand of luggage.

We’ve had two three piece sets for about seven years. Tach is a great concept and we are very happy with the product. Only issue is now after seven years some of the Velcro is getting weak and doesn’t keep connected as it should. Would be nice if the Velcro pads were a little larger. We need to replace the pads. I think you could sell a ton more sets if you would advertise them more. We always get enquiries when using the Tach system and have explained the system and contact information to many individuals. I am interested in purchasing new pads if you have them available.

Love this luggage! I have to say that Tach's customer service is almost non existant-- tried to contact, to no avail. But the luggage is so good and the idea ingenious, that I've given them 5 stars anyway. So they deserve 4.5 stars, but that's not an option and 4 would be too low for this excellent luggage that's especially good if you travel alone.

I absolutely love this luggage. Not one negative thing to say about them. My only complaint is the Tach website. Extremely difficult to use.
